Nako and Rowoon Selected as MC for "The Idol Band"


On July 28th, SBS Medianet revealed that SF9's Rowoon and Former IZ*ONE member Nako will be the MC for "The Idol Band: Boy's Battle".

"The Idol Band: Boy's Battle" is an audition program that aims to form and develop an idol band equipped with visuals, musicality, and skills to lead the growth of popular music at a global scale. The members of the band will be selected by idol producers, igniting fierce competition and friendship among the different participants.

Rowoon and Nako are both experienced MCs, raising the expectations even higher.

"It's my first time to be an audition MC, but I'll do my best not to be a candidate. I'm also looking forward to meeting people with various skills. We ask for your interest," Rowoon expressed.

"I participated in an audition program, and I learned many things and met my precious colleagues. As I am the MC this time, I will work hard to become a person who can sympathize well with the hearts of the applicants," Nako commented.

"The Idol Band" is still holding auditions until August 26th. The show is open to all men born from January 1995 - December 2009. Although the show is only open to participants living in Korea and Japan, the program assured that the show is open to all nationalities.
