The first day of the sold-out SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] World Tour commenced today, October 12th, at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium. Members S.Coups, Joshua, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino performed in front of 40,000 Carats. Two other members will not be participating in this tour — Jeonghan, who is currently serving in the military, and Jun, who is focusing on his activities in China.
While fans were waiting for the group to appear for the next song, a small fire was noticed among the stage lights. One concert staff immediately climbed up the railings to check on the burning fixture and eventually put the fire out. Although the fire wasn't that big, it caused a lot of smoke, so fans near the stage had to use their concert merch to blow the smoke away. The concert was put to a halt for almost 20 minutes to ensure that the situation had been taken care of. Thankfully, no injuries were reported and everyone was safe.
the reason for delay: there was a fire on the stage, but a staff went up and took the fire out so now it’s gone!pic.twitter.com/MrfgCjAMZo https://t.co/OVyRCkoYQZ

A staff member was able to climb up onto the stage to stop the remaining fire before it got any bigger and received a round of applause.

Once the members got back on stage, they tried to lighten up the situation and joked around with fans to lessen the nervous atmosphere following the incident.
SEVENTEEN and CARATs are so hot, no wonder we had fire in here!

On another note, fans were delighted to see Jeonghan among the concert attendees. He stayed for the whole duration of the concert and showed support to his members. Jeonghan recently enlisted in the military and is currently fulfilling his alternative service as a social worker so he was able to attend since he has weekends off.
