Hong Jisoo, also known for his stage name Joshua, is a South Korean-American singer, dancer, songwriter and composer under Pledis Entertainment. He is best known for being the lead vocalist and visual of the boy group SEVENTEEN. He is part of the group's vocal unit SVT VOCAL Team.

Joshua was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He frequented Koreatown where he was scouted by an agent from Pledis Entertainment. After passing an audtion, Joshua moved back to South Korea and became an official trainee, until he eventually made his official debut on May 26, 2015 as a member of SEVENTEEN.
