Introduction

HYBE (하이브) is a South Korean entertainment company. It was originally founded by Bang Si Hyuk as Big Hit Entertainment in 2005. On March 10, 2021, it was announced that they would be renaming from Big Hit Entertainment to HYBE to better reflect themselves as a comprehensive content company. The name change will be covered at their regular shareholder meeting on March 30. On March 19, Big Hit released a brand presentation video which covered the name change, mission, company structure and their new office building. It was also revealed that the "Big Hit Entertainment" identity would continue on as a label called BigHit Music. Their first group was BTS in june of 2013. Because of BTS’s success, they are now one of the biggest entertainments.
