Hansol Vernon Chwe, also known for his stage name Vernon, is a South Korean-American rapper, dancer, songwriter, composer and producer under Pledis Entertainment. He is the main rapper, sub vocalist, visual, and face of the boy group SEVENTEEN. He is also a member of the group's Rap unit SVT HIPHOP Team.

Vernon was born on February 18, 1998 in New York, United States Of America but moved back to South Korea when he was just 5. At 14 years old, he was streetcasted at a train station which eventually lead to him being a trainee on Pledis Entertainment.

Vernon debuted as a member of SEVENTEEN on May 26, 2015 with the mini-album 17 Carat.
