Introduction

Jessi is a Korean-American rapper and singer-songwriter. She is a former member of the hip-hop groups Uptown and Lucky J, and project girl groups Unnies and Refund Sisters. She made her solo debut on December 1, 2005 with the single album "Get Up", under the name Jessica H.O. From 2020-2022, she was the host of YouTube talk show Showterview with Jessi.

In October 2024, just a month after joining DOD Entertainment, rapper-singer Jessi terminated her contract following an alleged fan assault case. DOD Entertainment announced the mutual decision on October 18, 2024, expressing gratitude for her brief time with them and support for her future endeavors. Earlier that week, Jessi was questioned by police regarding an incident on September 29, where a fan reported being assaulted by a man accompanying Jessi. Despite video evidence showing Jessi attempting to intervene, public criticism arose as she left the scene without further action. Jessi had recently signed with DOD Entertainment after her contract with Jay Park's agency, More Vision, ended.
