Chuu is a South Korean singer and television personality under ATRP. She is a member of the girl group LOONA and its third sub-unit, yyxy.
On December 14, 2017, she was revealed as the tenth member of LOONA. Her solo single album, titled "Chuu", was released on December 28. She debuted as a member of the group's third sub-unit, yyxy, on May 30, 2018, with the mini album Beauty & The Beat. On August 20, 2018, LOONA debuted as a full twelve-member group with their first mini album '+ +'.
On November 25, 2022, BlockBerry Creative released a statement announcing Chuu's removal from the group due to allegedly using violent language and misusing her power towards staff members.
On October 18th, 2023, Chuu made her solo re-debut with the mini album 'Howl'.
