Kim Min-jong is a South Korean actor and singer. In 1988, he made his first appearance with a small role in the movie Don Quixote on Asphalt. After this, he starred in teen movies from the late 90s to early 90s. He also debuted as a singer in 1992.
He was a non-executive director of SM Culture & Contests, a subsidiary of SM Entertainment, since 1992. However, he parted ways with SM Entertainment in 2023 when his exclusive contract ended after 17 years. This was announced on July 13, 2023.
