Introduction

Kawai Ruka is a Japanese rapper and dancer under YG Entertainment. She is best known as the oldest, main dancer, and main rapper of the girl group BABYMONSTER.

Before becoming a YG Entertainment trainee, Ruka used to be a Japanese idol. As one of the founding members of the Japanese idol group Shibu3 project, Ruka made her debut on March 26, 2017, as a member of the Blue Class. In 2018, she eventually departed the group.

On February 5, 2023, Ruka was revealed as the seventh and last member of BABYMONSTER. The group officially debuted on March 31, 2024, with their mini album "BABYMONS7ER".
