STAYC’s J Pulled Out a “Not So Fast Mom” Card After Her Mom Sent Her to Audition to Fail! – J’s Debut Story Was Unveiled!

STAYC has been one of the most-loved rookies with top-tier talent who always left fans to wonder each comeback what concept they can't pull off.


Member J, particularly debuted with a funny story to tell that made fans wonder about her journey. When she was young, J said "I didn't really study. I just sang and sang, so my mom was like, 'She's got to fail an audition so she realizes what the reality is like.' She thought I was too loud as well. So, she got me to audition for an agency."

However, J pulled out a "Not so fast mom" card when she passed the audition. She then trained at JYP entertainment and left after three years.

After she left, J shared "At one point though, I was like, 'What am I doing right now? Which career path am I going to choose if I don't choose that one?' It turned out that my dream to become part of the industry was bigger than I had thought. So, I auditioned again for my current agency (High Up Entertainment). That's how I made my debut."

Seems like her mom unknowingly helped her become one of the top rookies in K-pop! Yay for her mom!
