On August 8th, SM Entertainment unveiled their official lineup of artists, who will be releasing new music in the second half of 2024.
Following a very successful sequence of tours and music releases in the first half of the year, SM will take it up a notch with the solo debut of virtual artist, Naevis. She will release a digital single in the third quarter. Additionally, in the fourth quarter, a new girl group will be revealed. They are also aiming to debut a new boy group in 2025.
Spectacular comebacks are also expected in the third quarter, starting with NCT 127, Key, WAYV, RIIZE, NCT Wish, Sungmin, and Hyoyeon. There will also be solo activities by Jaehyun, Minho, Taeyeon, Yesung, Chanyeol, and Irene.
By the 4th quarter of the year, NCT Dream will release a new full-length album. They will embark on their 3rd world tour in North America, South America, and Europe. Fresh from the success of their first studio album, Armageddon, aespa is also set to release a new mini-album.
Meanwhile, five-member 'Trot Idol' consisting of 'Mr. Trot' members is also being prepared. Their growth story will be revealed through a TV program in Korea and Japan. After that, they will go on a nationwide tour concert. SM's contemporary R&B label 'KRUCIALIZE' will unveil its first artist in October.
Moreover, SM continues to boast their infinite expansion beyond genres and regions. In particular, the company's first British boy group 'Dear Alice' will begin their global activities in August.
