JAY B, also known as Im Jae Bum (임재범) and formerly JB, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and actor. He started his career in 2012 as part of the duo JJ Project with Park Jinyoung under JYP Entertainment. Two years later, he became the leader of the hit boy group Got7, which has seven members. He also formed a sub-unit called Jus2 with Yugyeom in 2019 and released their EP Focus.
In 2021, he and the other Got7 members left JYP Entertainment after their contracts expired. He then joined H1GHR Music in May 2021 and made his solo debut as JAY B. However, he parted ways with the company in July 2022. He later signed with CDNZA Records but left in April 2023.
He remains the leader of Got7 and handles their legal and official affairs. He also continues to pursue his solo activities.
