Introduction

Park Jinyoung, better known by the mononym Jinyoung, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and actor under BH Entertainment. He first made his official debut in 2012 as half of the duo JJ project, together with JAY B. In January 2014, he debuted once again, this time as the lead vocalist and visual of the highly-successful seven-member boy group Got7.

Besides singing and performing, Jinyoung also pursued acting. He made his acting debut in "Dream High 2 (2021)", followed by supporting roles in "When a Man Falls in Love (2013)" and "Beloved Eun-dong (2015)". He eventually made his big-screen debut in the independent film "A Stray Goat (2016)".

In 2021, following his contract expiration in JYP Entertainment, Jinyoung and his bandmates left the company to pursue solo and group activities. Since then, Jinyoung has continued to star in dramas and movies, all while releasing new music every now and then.

On January 28, 2021, it was announced that he signed an exclusive contract with BH Entertainment following his departure from JYP Entertainment.

On May 8, 2023, Jinyoung enlisted as an active duty soldier.
