JiU is a South Korean singer and dancer under Dreamcatcher Company.
She first debuted on September 18, 2014 as a member of the girl group MINX with the digital single "Why Did You Come To My Home?".
On November 29, 2016, it was announced that MINX would be rebranding as Dreamcatcher while keeping the five member from the original lineup. JiU redebuted with Dreamcatcher on January 13, 2017 with the release of the single "Nightmare".
In October 2017, JiU participed on the YG survival show MIXNINE under her birth name, Kim Minji. However, she left the show on December 10 due to scheduling conflicts.
