Teddy Park is a Korean-American rapper, songwriter, and producer. He was a member of the South Korean hip-hop boy group 1TYM under YG Entertainment which debuted in 1998. He started working mainly as a producer under YG Entertainment when the group went on hiatus in January 2006. He notably produced for groups like BIGBANG, 2NE1, and BLACKPINK.
Since September 2015, Teddy Park has been at the head of YG Entertainment's independent sub-label named The Black Label, which held artists like Jeon Somi, Taeyang, and Park Bo Gum.
More recently, in April 2024, he and his agency even collaborated with MNET on their survival show "I-LAND2: N/a", which formed the group izna, for who he would produce the songs when they debut. It was also revealed that The Black Label was planning to make their first-ever girl group, MEOVV, which debuted on September 6, 2024.
