On July 7, 2022, Jia was revealed as a contestant on Mnet's survival show "Girls Planet 999". She was eliminated in the eighth episode, her final rank being K11.
On September 1, 2022, Jia was revealed as a member of the girl group mimiirose under YES IM Entertainment. mimiirose debuted on September 16, 2022 with the single "AWESOME".
On November 21, 2023, it was announced that mimiirose had parted ways with YES IM Entertainment following a mutual decision.
The group was revealed to have signed an exclusive contract with Pocket7 Entertainment on March 26, 2024, continuing their activities as mimiirose with the addition of two new members.
