WOODZ, formerly known as Seung Youn, is a South Korean singer under EDAM Entertainment.
Using his name Seung Youn, he first made his official debut in 2014 as a member of the Chinese-South Korean boy group UNIQ. Following the group's indefinite break from activities, the singer pursued solo activities under the stage name Luizy until he eventually changed it to WOODZ. In 2019, he joined the survival show Produce X 101 where he finished 5th place, earning him a spot in the boy group X1.
On August 27, 2019, he made his debut as a member of X1. However, X1's promotions were cut short and the group ultimately disbanded in January 2020 due to Produce X 101's voting controversy. Following this, he returned to solo promotions under Yuehua Entertainment.
Upon reaching the expiration of his exclusive contract with Yuehua Entertainment in October 2022, WOODZ left the agency. Months later, it was announced that he had joined EDAM Entertainment, home to IU and Actress Shin Se Kyung. Through EDAM Entertainment, he released his fifth mini album O-Li in April 2023.
On December 10, 2023, WOODZ announced through his fan cafe that he would be enlisting in the military on January 22, 2024 and will be discharged on July 21, 2025.
